Nick: Want to take a lights-on, 360° virtual tour through select scenes from some of the best houses at Halloween Horror Nights 28?! Read on to find out more and check out the tours!

– Over the years, many of our images have popped up on other sites and forums, awesome that our coverage spreads, not so awesome that not everyone mentioned where they got the images from. We are totally fine with our audience using our images, BUT ONLY IF credit is given to californiacoasterkings.com. Thank you! –

One of my favorite behind the scenes tours offered by Universal Orlando is the Unmasking the Horror Tour that’s available during Halloween Horror Nights. It’s a daytime tour that takes you through either 3 or 6 of the haunted houses with the lights on while your tour guide explains how they are designed and brought to life by the amazing Art and Design team. The best part is they allow you to take photos in select scenes of all the houses!

I took the six house tour this year and brought my trusty little 360° camera along so I could create some virtual tours. We were able to take photos in nearly every scene of Seeds of Extinction and Carnival Graveyard, so those are definitely the two longest tours. In Stranger Things, we were allowed to take photos in the Mirkwood and Hawkins Lab scenes, so at least we got to capture some iconic and recognizable sets in there. PoltergeistScary Tales and Trick ‘r Treat were unfortunately pretty limited, only allowing photos of their facades and one additional scene, but they’re still fun to look at! So without further ado, enjoy the virtual tours linked below!

If you enjoyed those virtual tours,  be sure to try and book your own Unmasking the Horror Tour so you can experience it in person! It’s a great way to learn more about Halloween Horror Nights and offers a unique view of the houses most guests don’t get to see. And if you want even more virtual tours, check out these three from Halloween Horror Nights 27 last year:
