Electric Eel features multiple-launch experiences that propel riders forward and backward as they speed through the ride’s station house accelerating to more than 60 mph in seconds. Alexander: Welcome to our third and final (and BIGGEST) Knott’s Berry Farm update this week, where we’ll cover everything besides the Boysenberry Festival and HangTime.
Sean: As we enjoyed the splendid food festival that is Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Farm, we collected a lot of HangTime pictures to bring you the latest update of the new-for-2018 coaster! Let’s take a look… Continue reading “HangTime Update – March 27, 2018”
Alexander: It’s Spring in SoCal, and you know what that means! It’s Boysenberry time at Knott’s Berry Farm! Every year at the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival, countless boysen-based food items are offered to hungry guests, each lovingly crafted by Knott’s Berry Farm’s enormous food service team!
Byron: California’s Great America opened for the 2018 season this past weekend, and of course, we were in attendance for opening day. It was a pleasure to be back at the park and take an extended look at this changing and growing park. Below we’ll discuss how the rides are running, general park improvements, and of course the phenomenal progress of Railblazer. Continue reading “California’s Great America – Opening Day Report 2018”
Alexander: Hello again! It’s been about 18hrs since our last Six Flags Magic Mountain update, but honestly there’s always something new to touch on.
Sean and I went back to the park today so that he could check out DC SUPER HEROES Drop of Doom VR (which I was happy to do a 2nd time; Sean is impressed with the experience as well), plus to cover a few more details of changes happening around the park. Continue reading “Six Flags Magic Mountain Update – March 25, 2018”
Alexander: It’s been about a month since our last full Six Flags Magic Mountain update (mostly due to a few quiet weeks at the park), but this week we experienced a LOT of developments seemingly overnight! Let’s take a look!
Six Flags Magic Mountain—in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment—today announced a new, extreme virtual reality experience coming to one of the world’s tallest and fastest drop tower rides. For a limited time, guests can experience the new DC SUPER HEROES Drop of Doom VR. Continue reading “Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom to Feature DC Super Heroes VR”
Sean: As you may know we visited Shanghai Disneyland a few weeks back, and we had an absolutely amazing time. Instead of a trip report, I decided to make it a bit more structural and discuss each of the 6 themed lands at Shanghai Disneyland, their attractions, and my thoughts on them! Continue reading “A Look At Shanghai Disneyland”
Sean: It has been a few weeks since I traveled across the globe in search for an exciting roller coaster that not many people have had the chance to ride, but that everyone is already obsessed with. My travels took me to Shanghai Disneyland, which is home to TRON: Lightcycle Power Run. Perhaps the best coaster Disney has ever opened. Continue reading “The World isn’t Good Enough for TRON: Lightcycle Power Run, but Walt Disney World Might Be.”
Alexander: Hey, peeps! Let’s get wet!
Our little 3-park trip to Orlando actually started here at Sea World Orlando; the park was Sean’s top priority for his first visit to Florida.
We’re awfully fond of our SeaWorld here in Southern California – how would Sea World Parks’ most prominent park compare?
Sean: One of my all-time favorite parks on this planet turns out to be Busch Gardens Tampa. Located only about an hour away from the major Orlando theme parks, Busch Gardens does a spectacular job offering an experience that is unique, and does so in a classic, clean, well-maintained setting. In addition to which the park also features some of the continent’s best coasters. Join us as we take a look at this massive Busch Gardens park! Continue reading “Journey to Busch Gardens Tampa”
Sean: People travel to Orlando for large resorts and parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld Orlando, but what makes Orlando such a great region after the major parks close for the day? Fun Spot America! These new smaller amusement parks offer clean, laid back, and thrilling fun. As we were in the region we decided to check out the smaller parks that people may some times forget about, Fun Spot America in Kissimmee and Fun Spot America in Orlando! Continue reading “The Amazing Fun Spot America Parks”
McLaren: Today we had the opportunity to take an even closer look at HangTime’s progress as we inch closer to its opening date. Recently, the last piece of track was put into place, which is totally exciting for most of us, but it is only the beginning as we continue in the process of testing, working out bugs in the system, and adding tedious, yet essential details. While we are still unaware of when exactly the ride will welcome the general public, we were able to have a clearer vision of what this ride has to offer come early this summer.
